Simple & stress-free

How it works

1

Assemble the end frames

We assemble each A-frame or arch end, torque the pivot bolts to allow adjustable spreading while still being solid enough not to wobble.

2

Connect the spreader bars

We thread the horizontal spreader bars through both end frames and tighten the locking pins so the stand holds its arc without spreading under load.

3

Level, hang, & test

We level the stand, hang the hammock at the correct sling angle, and do a full sit-test — shifting our weight and rocking to confirm stability.

We can help

Problems we fix

  • Spreader bar pins not locked — stand spreads flat when person sits down
  • Arc too narrow — hammock sags almost to the ground in the center
  • Arc too wide — hammock is banana-shaped and tips sideways when entered
  • Stand placed on a sloped surface — leans noticeably and the hammock swings sideways

Hammock Stand Assembly — FAQ

What length hammock fits most stands?

Most universal stands accommodate hammocks from 9 to 14 feet in total length. We adjust the spreader bar spacing to match your specific hammock during assembly.

Can you assemble a hammock stand on a wooden deck?

Yes. We place non-slip pads under each foot to protect the decking and prevent the stand from shifting.

Can you hang the hammock from two trees instead?

Tree-to-tree hanging uses webbing straps around the trunks — no stand needed and no hardware into the trees. We can set this up as an alternative if you have suitable trees.
