Who we are
AZ Smart Fix LLC (“we”, “us”) runs azsmartfix.com and provides handyman and home-repair services. This page explains what information we collect when you visit the site or ask us for an estimate, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request an estimate we ask for:
- your name, phone number, street address and ZIP code;
- what needs doing, any description and photos you add, and when you would like the work done.
We use this only to reply to you, give you an estimate, schedule the work and do the job.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site we record how it is used, so we can see which pages help people and which do not:
- the pages you view, how long you spend on them and how far you scroll;
- the buttons you use (for example “Call us” or “Get my free estimate”) and how far you got through the request form — not what you typed into its personal fields;
- your type of device and browser, and your screen size;
- the website or ad that sent you here, including the click identifier an ad network adds to the link (such as Google’s “gclid”);
- your approximate location (city and state), estimated from your IP address so we can suggest the nearest service area. We do not keep your IP address in our records.
Cookies and browser storage
We keep a few small items in your browser: a random visitor number, the current visit, where you came from (kept for up to 90 days), the service area you chose, and — only for the current browser tab — an unfinished request, so it is not lost if you look at another page first. None of these contain your name or contact details. The services listed below may set their own cookies.
Services we use
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — hosts this website and stores requests and usage records. Privacy information
- Google Analytics — counts visits and shows which pages are used, in aggregate. Privacy information
- Google Ads — tells us which ads led to a request, so we do not pay for ads that do not work. Privacy information
- Microsoft Clarity — shows how visitors use our pages (taps, scrolling, where people get stuck). The fields of our request form that hold personal details are masked and never recorded. Privacy information
- A messaging service — notifies our team the moment a new request arrives, so we can call you back quickly.
How we use advertising data
If you reach us through an ad, we may tell the ad platform that the click led to a request or to a completed job. We do this with the click identifier only — never with your name, phone number or address. It lets the platform stop showing our ads to searches that do not turn into real work.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, who handle it on our behalf, and when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Estimate requests: as long as needed to provide the service and to keep normal business records.
- Website usage records: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Ad click identifiers kept in your browser: expire after 90 days.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us below; we may need to confirm it is you.
- California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell personal information.
- You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out add-on and My Ad Center for ad personalization.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on their home. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
Requests are stored in a database that only our team can open, and the site is served over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
