Assembly & Installation

ProfessionalAwning Installation

A well-placed awning shades a patio, cools the room behind it, and adds real curb appeal. We mount retractable and fixed awnings to walls, fascia boards, or eave brackets — drilled into studs so the weight is supported properly.

Simple & stress-free

How it works

1

Mark & anchor

We find the studs or rafters behind the mounting surface and mark bracket positions so every anchor lands in solid wood.

2

Mount the awning

We attach the brackets, hang the awning housing, and extend the arms to check that the fabric deploys straight and even.

3

Adjust & test

We set the pitch angle, connect power for motorized units, and run the awning through several open/close cycles to confirm smooth operation.

We can help

Problems we fix

  • Brackets anchored into siding only — pulls away under wind load
  • Awning arms not parallel, causing the fabric to pucker on one side
  • Motorized unit wired to a circuit without the right amperage
  • Fabric not tensioned evenly, pooling water during rain

Awning Installation — FAQ

Can you install an awning on a brick or stucco wall?

Yes. Masonry walls require specific anchors and may need a pilot hole drilled with a hammer drill. We carry the right bits and anchors for brick, block, and stucco.

Do you install motorized awnings?

Yes. Motorized awnings need a nearby outlet or a hardwired connection. We handle the mounting side; if new wiring is needed, we can coordinate with a licensed electrician.

How do I know the awning will handle wind?

Most awnings have a wind rating. Retractable models should be rolled up before storms. We set the mounting anchors into studs so the bracket itself is as strong as possible.
