Will the film be visible once it is applied?

Good quality security film is nearly invisible. There may be a faint tint depending on the product, but most people looking at the window from outside will not notice it.

How long does it take to cure?

The film bonds fully over several days to a few weeks depending on temperature and humidity. Small water bubbles during this period are normal and disappear on their own as the moisture escapes.

Does it work on double-paned windows?

Yes, but some films can trap heat and affect the seal on certain insulated glass units. We use film rated for double-pane use and check your window type before starting.

Does security film stop someone from breaking the glass?
