How it works
Assess door and lock prep
We check door thickness and existing hardware to confirm the keypad lock will fit the current bore or if a new one needs to be drilled.
Install the hardware
We mount the exterior keypad and interior turnpiece, connect them through the door, and secure all hardware snugly without over-tightening.
Program and test
We program the access code, test multiple code entries to confirm consistent operation, and confirm the battery indicator shows adequate power.
We can help
Problems we fix
- Non-standard door thicknesses requiring extended or shortened connecting rods
- Metal garage doors needing special drilling considerations for the interior plate
- Existing bore hole diameter not matching the new lock's standard 2-1/8 inch prep
- Keypad programming sequences that differ significantly between brands

Keyless Entry Pad Install — FAQ
Do these require Wi-Fi or a hub?
Battery-operated keypad locks are fully standalone — no Wi-Fi or app required. They are simpler than smart locks and work without any internet connection, which makes them reliable for garages and outbuildings.
How many access codes can I program?
It depends on the model. Some support only one code, others support ten or more. If you need multiple codes for different people, let us know when booking so we bring or recommend a model that supports it.
How long do the batteries last?
Most battery keypads run for one to two years on standard AA batteries. A low-battery warning light or beep will alert you before they die. We install fresh batteries during setup.
Can I still use a physical key as a backup?
Many keypad locks include a key cylinder on the exterior for backup entry. We confirm your model's options and test the key override during installation.
