Professional Wi-Fi Mesh Network Setup

Dead zones and dropped connections usually come down to a single router trying to cover too much space. We install your mesh system, position nodes for overlapping coverage, connect everything to your modem, and test signal strength in every room before we wrap up.

  • Update firmware and run the manufacturer's coverage scan
  • Test signal and speeds in previously problematic areas

How it works

1

Assess the layout

We walk the home and note thick walls, stairwells, and far rooms to plan node placement that eliminates dead zones with the fewest units.

2

Install and configure

We place nodes, connect the primary to your modem, run the setup app, and let the system calibrate its backhaul channels.

3

Test and verify

We test Wi-Fi speed and signal in every main area and move nodes if any spot falls short of the coverage target.

Problems we fix

  • Modem or ISP gateway conflicts requiring bridge mode changes
  • Thick concrete or brick walls limiting signal between floors
  • Too few nodes purchased to cover a large or multi-floor home
  • Interference from neighboring networks on the same channel

Wi-Fi Mesh Network Setup — FAQ

Do I need to put my ISP modem in bridge mode?

It depends on your router model and whether you want the mesh system to handle all routing. We assess your modem on arrival and switch it to bridge mode if needed to avoid double-NAT issues.

How many nodes do I need?

A typical two-story home covers well with two or three nodes. We will let you know if we think you need an extra unit based on your floor plan and wall materials.

Will my existing smart devices reconnect automatically?

If you keep the same network name and password as your old router, most devices reconnect on their own. We can help you set that up during the visit.

Can you set up a separate IoT network for smart devices?

Yes. Many mesh systems support a separate VLAN or SSID for smart home devices, which keeps them isolated from your main computers and phones. We can configure that if you want it.
