How it works

We check for high spots and hollows, flatten what needs it, and make sure the subfloor is clean and dry before the first plank goes down.

Install the flooring

We lay the planks from the straightest reference wall, maintaining the required stagger between row joints and tapping each row tight.

Cut in details and trim out

We scribe around obstacles, undercut door casings for a clean transition, and install base shoe or transition strips to finish the edges.

Can vinyl plank go over existing tile?

Yes, if the tile is firmly bonded, not cracked, and the transition height to adjacent rooms is acceptable. We'll check and advise before starting.

Does vinyl plank flooring need an underlayment?

Many LVP products have underlayment pre-attached. If yours doesn't, we'll add a thin foam or cork underlayment, especially over a hard concrete or wood subfloor.

Is vinyl plank flooring truly waterproof?

The planks themselves are waterproof, but water can still work through seams at the edges if it pools there. Proper caulking at the tub and toilet bases keeps the floor protected.
