ProfessionalVideo Baby Monitor Mounting

A wall-mounted baby monitor gives you a bird's-eye view of the entire crib without cluttering the dresser or nightstand. We mount the camera at the right height and angle, route the power cord out of reach, connect it to your app, and confirm you have a clear, wide view of the whole sleeping area.

How it works

1

Plan placement and routing

We position the camera to cover the full crib at a safe distance and plan the power cable route so it stays well out of the crib and beyond reach of the sleeping area.

2

Mount and wire

We drill and anchor the mount to the wall or ceiling, attach the camera, and route the power cord along the wall using cord clips or a channel to keep it tidy and inaccessible.

3

Connect and test

We pair the camera with the app, verify the live feed and night vision image, and configure motion and sound alert thresholds.

We can help

Problems we fix

  • Nearby power outlet too far from the ideal camera angle, requiring cord extension planning
  • Plaster or tile walls in older homes needing masonry anchors
  • Camera mounts with limited tilt range not covering the crib from certain positions
  • Wi-Fi signal in the nursery too weak for reliable video streaming

Good to know

Video Baby Monitor Mounting — FAQ

What is the best camera position for a crib view?

Directly above the crib at a height of four to six feet gives a clear top-down view of the whole sleep area. An angled corner position also works well and is easier to reach for power routing.

How do you keep the cord out of baby's reach?

We route the cord up the wall and along the ceiling or baseboards, securing it with low-profile cord clips so it is nowhere near the crib or mattress level.

Can you set up multiple cameras in the same room?

Yes. If you want coverage of the crib and the room door, for example, we install both cameras in the same visit and set up each in the app with separate feeds.

What if the Wi-Fi signal in the nursery is weak?

Video streaming needs a reliable connection. We test signal strength before mounting. If it is marginal, we discuss adding a Wi-Fi extender to that room during the same visit.
