ProfessionalUnder Cabinet Lighting

Under-cabinet lights eliminate the shadows that form on your countertop when overhead fixtures don't reach. We install LED strip or puck lights under your kitchen wall cabinets, run the wiring discreetly, and connect to a dedicated switch so you control them independently of the overhead lights.

Also known as: under cabinet lights, under-cabinet LED, kitchen cabinet lighting, counter lighting install, under counter lights, undercabinet lighting, under cabinet light strip

How it works

1

Plan the run and switch location

We mark where each light section lands and trace the cleanest wire path to the switch or outlet, keeping everything hidden inside cabinet frames.

2

Mount lights and run wiring

We attach the strips or pucks, tuck the wiring into channels along the cabinet underside, and connect to the power source or transformer.

3

Test and adjust

We check for even coverage, adjust any strips that have dark spots, and confirm the switch or dimmer works through the full range.

We can help

Problems we fix

  • Visible wiring that wasn't properly channeled inside cabinet frames
  • Inconsistent color temperature between separate strip segments
  • Strips that need separate drivers for each run because of voltage drop over long distances
  • No nearby outlet or switch making a hardwired connection necessary

Good to know

Under Cabinet Lighting — FAQ

Plug-in or hardwired — which is better?

Plug-in setups are easier and less expensive if there's an outlet inside a cabinet nearby. Hardwired looks cleaner because there's no cord or plug visible, but it's a bigger job. We'll tell you which makes more sense for your layout.

Can you match the light color to my existing overhead lights?

Yes. We select LEDs in the same color temperature (warm white, neutral, or daylight) so the counter lighting blends seamlessly with what's above.

Can I dim under-cabinet lights?

Yes, as long as the LED driver is dimmable. We install a compatible dimmer switch when you want that flexibility.
