How it works

Attach strips to the bed frame underside

We clean the frame surface, peel the strip adhesive, and press the strips firmly along the front and sides of the frame where the glow will hit the floor.

Position and connect the motion sensor

We clip or tape the PIR sensor to face the floor at the bed's side, connect it inline with the LED controller, and route the cable neatly along the frame.

Configure and test

We plug in the power supply, set the brightness and on-time, trigger the sensor from a standing position beside the bed, and confirm the light doesn't activate from movement across the room.

Can under-bed lights work with a platform bed that has no clearance?

LED strips work best with at least 3–4 inches of clearance to allow the light to spread on the floor. Very low-profile platform beds may not allow the glow to spill out effectively.

How do I stop the motion sensor from triggering my pets?

We aim the sensor at shin-height level and dial down the sensitivity. A sensor mounted higher and angled downward catches human footsteps without picking up a low-to-the-ground cat or dog.
