How it works
Map the lighting zones
We walk the exterior with you to determine where motion coverage, decorative accent, and pathway lighting are most useful.
Mount fixtures and run wiring
We install each fixture into a weatherproof box, run low-voltage wire for landscape lights, and wire motion sensors to the correct switch or photocell.
Adjust and test
We power everything up, walk through the motion zones to confirm sensitivity, and fine-tune timer and range settings.
We can help
Problems we fix
- Non-weatherproof junction boxes that corrode and cause shorts
- Motion sensors aimed too low, triggering on passing cars instead of people
- Transformer overload when too many low-voltage landscape lights are added to one circuit
- Fixtures installed without proper sealing that let moisture into the wiring

Outdoor Lighting Setup — FAQ
Can you install outdoor lights where there's no existing outlet or junction box?
We can tap a nearby circuit inside the home and run conduit to the exterior. For longer runs or entirely new circuits, we'll rope in a licensed electrician for the panel work.
What's the difference between line-voltage and low-voltage landscape lighting?
Line-voltage lights (120V) are brighter and need proper conduit and weatherproof boxes. Low-voltage systems (12V) are easier to expand, use a transformer you can plug in, and are ideal for path lights and accent fixtures.
Can you put outdoor lights on a timer?
Yes. We can install a dusk-to-dawn photocell, a programmable timer switch, or connect them to a smart switch you control from your phone.
