Set the stops and confirm clearance

What about cabinets with a center stile?

A center stile reduces the usable width. We can sometimes fit two smaller trays — one on each side — or use a modified slide mounting that clears the stile.

How much weight can a pull-out shelf hold?

The slides determine the weight capacity. We use heavy-duty, full-extension slides rated for at least 75 lb per tray — enough for cast iron pans and full pantry items.
