How it works
Soften and remove
We use a heat gun, adhesive remover, or carefully scored scraper to lift the sticker and soften the residue without gouging the surface.
Clean residue completely
We wipe the area with a solvent that dissolves any remaining adhesive, then clean with soapy water to remove the solvent before it affects the existing paint.
Touch up the finish
If the process lifted any paint, we prime the spot and apply a color-matched touch-up coat so the area blends back in.
We can help
Problems we fix
- Rubbing too hard with abrasive scrubbers that damage the paint sheen before all residue is removed
- Strong solvents like acetone dissolving the existing paint finish along with the adhesive
- Residue spreading across a wider area when rubbed dry instead of dissolved before wiping
- Wallpaper-backed stickers that bond to painted walls and pull the paint off when removed

Sticker Residue Removal — FAQ
What removes stubborn adhesive without damaging the paint?
A gentle adhesive remover like Goo Gone or lighter fluid works well on most residential painted walls. For very fresh stickers, a low-heat setting on a hair dryer to soften the adhesive before peeling helps a lot.
What if the paint is peeling after sticker removal?
We can spot-prime and touch up any lifted paint. If the area is large, we may need to repaint the whole wall section for an even finish.
Can you remove wall decals too?
Yes. Wall vinyl decals are removed with a similar approach — slow, patient peeling with a plastic scraper and gentle heat to avoid leaving residue or pulling paint.
